Calculator inputs
You do not need an account or a home address. The browser sends calculator inputs to the OfferCheck server to calculate results. The application does not save these inputs in a database or create a salary profile. City searches and salary benchmark requests also reach our server; they are not sent live to salary-source websites.
Technical information
The hosting and network services that deliver this website may process IP addresses, request paths, timestamps and diagnostic information for delivery, reliability and security. The calculator does not intentionally log salary input bodies. Hosting logs are separate from the calculator database; their retention depends on the hosting provider. Avoid putting private information into URLs or job titles.
Cookies and advertising today
OfferCheck includes Google AdSense code on its offer calculator, household budget calculator and guides for site verification and advertising. Google and its partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses and browser information to deliver and measure advertising and prevent fraud, even when no ad is visible. The calculator itself does not save salary profiles. Linked websites have their own privacy practices.
Google advertising and your choices
Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on previous visits to this and other websites. Google advertising cookies allow Google and its partners to personalize ads using browsing activity. Users can manage personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings at https://adssettings.google.com/ or participating vendors at https://www.aboutads.info/choices/. Advertising partners may also place or read cookies. You can manage browser cookies in your browser settings. Where a consent message is presented, use its controls to manage your choices.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand visits, pages viewed and how people use OfferCheck. Google Analytics may use cookies and process browser and device information, referral information and interactions, depending on consent and property settings. We do not add salary, household expense amounts or other calculator field values to Analytics events. Analytics data retention is controlled in our Google Analytics property settings; this policy does not promise a specific retention period. Google explains its data practices at https://policies.google.com/privacy. A browser opt-out tool is available at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Where consent controls are provided, use them to manage analytics choices.
Household budgets and sensitive information
The budget calculator sends the amounts you enter, including school fees, healthcare and debt costs, to our server to compute totals. Use amounts only: do not enter names, medical details, account numbers or information identifying children. We do not intentionally pass calculator field values to advertising services. Third-party advertising scripts operate in your browser under their own privacy practices.
Storage and retention
The calculator application has no user-account or saved-budget database. Results remain on the current page; your browser may retain form values through its own features. Server and hosting logs are separate and may retain technical information. We do not claim a fixed deletion period for provider-controlled logs. Email correspondence may be retained to handle your request. Contact us to ask about information we hold or to request correction or deletion, where applicable.
Consent and regional choices
Advertising choices depend on your location and the consent settings available to you. Where a Google-certified consent message is provided, use it to accept, reject or manage advertising purposes and vendors. Google Ads Settings manages personalization but is not a replacement for a website consent choice. Blocking browser cookies can affect advertising and third-party features. This policy does not itself record consent.
Sharing is your choice
Copy and Share use the summary displayed on screen. Sharing may reveal your salary, city, job context and estimates to the recipient or the application you choose. Review the summary first. OfferCheck does not publish your result automatically.
Contact and updates
Contact the site maintainer using the Contact page for privacy questions. Do not send identity documents or full offer letters. If you send an email, the email services involved process that message and it may be retained to respond to your request. This policy describes the current application and will be revised when its data practices change.
Private content administration
The owner-only admin workspace uses an essential, secure session cookie for sign-in and CSRF protection. Editorial drafts, published articles and revisions are stored in a persistent content database, separately from calculator inputs. Login protection stores hashed connection identifiers and session records. Admin screens and signed-in owner visits do not load our Analytics or AdSense tags. No public registration or saved salary profiles are provided.
